Can you all believe January is over already? I’m kind of relieved because January has been a crazy month. Hence my slight disappearance again this month. Lack of sleep and 15 hour days kept me away from all you lovely people but I’m back to check in on all of you. Since today is February 1 and many of us made our New Years resolutions only a month ago, I wanted to see how you’re all doing sticking to your resolutions. Are you staying on path or have you fallen off the bandwagon? Either way, it’s not too late to get back on in.
Over the past month I’ve definitely sticked with a few of my resolutions and have slacked on others. I wanted to be better at being more consistent with all of your and well let’s be honest I haven’t completely stuck to my goal. New month gives me a new opportunity to get back on track!
I have been much better at finding time for friends and sticking with my workouts. I’ve even found ways to reconnect with old friends by meeting up for a good workout! Here’s a cute pic after Friday’s friend workout.
My running game has been strong lately and I’ve been feeling amazing. I even signed up the Brooklyn Half Marathon which just so happens to be on my birthday this year. I’m still on track on where I want my body to be and my diet has been on point. Everything is falling into place and I’m feeling the best I have in a while. Hard work pays off!
The moral of the story is that if you’ve fallen off track with your New Years resolutions it’s not too late to start over. Think of last month and a trial run and now you’re ready for the real thing. If you’ve stayed on pace give yourself a huge pat on the back because you rock! Keep up the amazing work everyone! Let’s do this together.
